Aim of the course:
This unit aims to equip youth workers with the skills, tools, and knowledge to mentor young migrant women in creating, sustaining, and scaling environmentally sustainable and economically viable green income-generating activities, including market gardening, green business-Canvas model, access to funding and networks, innovation, and impact monitoring.
Main notions:
- Green business foundations: Understanding how to design environmentally sustainable and economically viable business models (e.g. market gardening and the Green Business Model Canvas).
- Growth and support mechanisms: Knowing how to access funding, partnerships, and networks to support innovation, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
- Impact and performance monitoring: Being able to track environmental, social, and economic outcomes through effective monitoring and evaluation systems.
